For So long I couldnt see
I had the gift inside of me
I have what others could not find
An open heart and a free mind
Some play hit and miss
I wouldnt change any of this
Tears to my eyes when i realize
That for some they run out of time
For so long i couldnt see
But now my words carry beauty and poignancy
And now i run towards the light
I realize that ill be just fine
Now i finally see wjhat i could be
I dont back down but i go to my knees
And thank the one who made me
And when my race is done
Ill go to the one who loves me
And made me finally see the gift in me
